Accident Reports

Reports may be obtained from Moody Police Department Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00. Reports are $5.00 per copy. You will be given an SR-13 form to complete and send to the State. If you live out of town, you may request a copy of your accident report in writing along with a money order in the appropriate amount.

If Your Vehicle has Been Impounded

The registered owner of the vehicle must come to Moody Police Department and show proof of ownership, tag receipt, title, etc.. If the owner of the vehicle does not have a valid driver license, he or she must bring a licensed driver. You will be given a release form that you must take to the towing service in order for the vehicle to be released. You will have to pay the towing service’s fee for towing and any storage fees that are assessed.

If your vehicle is towed under the Safe Streets Ordinance, in addition to the above requirements, you must pay a $50.00 administrative fee to the City of Moody (cash or money order) when you pick up the release.
