The City of Moody thanks each Veteran for the sacrifices they have made and continue to make in order to serve our country!
Veteran Banners
The City of Moody is pleased to present its Veteran Banner recognition program, honoring those currently active in the military and veterans who served in a branch of the U. S. military.
Banners will be displayed Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Patriot Day and Veterans Day.
Pictures will also be displayed at the Moody Museum and website.

Memorial Wall
As a tribute to the proud men and women who have served our country a Memorial Wall was erected and dedicated on September 11, 2004 in the Moody City Park.
The memorial wall is dedicated to veterans of the United States Armed Forces with everlasting gratitude.
Citizens can have a plaque engraved in honor or in memory of a veteran, firefighter or police officer.
Who is eligible to be honored? Anyone who has served “honorably” in the armed forces or currently serving.
Proof of eligibility required is a DD214, NGB 22, or any separation document with service dates provided.
Eligible First Responders must have served in their respective field at least 10 years; proof of eligibility required with a letter of service from the Department Chief.
